Admission to schools Bill – Bríd argues remove the baptismal ban now.
In the Dáil yesterday Bríd argued for full equality in the Admissions to Schools Bill, urging the Minister to remove the baptismal ban, which allows schools to discriminate against children who are not baptised into the Catholic faith. Education is a right and should not depend on religious belief, or lack of it.
