We are a haven for bad employers and no wonder – our country is sold to international investors as a low waged, few rights for workers, light-touch regulation and low corporate tax rates. No wonder have 4000 children homeless, 200,000 children living in poverty. Contrast that with the vision of the first Dáil, 100 years ago. I spoke about this yesterday in the Dáil.

How dare they! IBEC, the bosses union demanded halving the proposed 30cent an hour increase in the minimum wage. They used, wouldn’t you know, the threat of Brexit. They’d no problem however with a tax scam for senior executives called SARP. SARP will cost us €28Million in tax forgone. No Brexit bull’t there!. These were points I made recently in the Dáil in support of the SF Bill.
