I’m proud to say myself and Paul Murphy TD voted and spoke AGAINST extending the Offences Against the State Act today. A jury is an essential part of democracy, the Act gives the judges sole rights to decide. Judges are mostly political appointees, so who do you think they favour – our class or theirs?
