An 8 story hotel in the middle of the Liberties is not on! This is the 3rd week we have protested; we are with residents, local historians, and supporters. The weather was atrocious! A sequel to this little video shows what happens when we go to another local scandal – the Iveagh Market.

 

Last Saturday – March 2- we protested about insensitive, inapropriate developement in the Dublin’s Liberties. First we were at Vicar Street where an 8 story hotel is proposed; then we marched to the Iveagh Market, sold for £1 to a developer who has left it lie in derelict since. Some very moving testimony from residents and ex residents of the area.
